Just wondering

I own a 2013 V6 manual. it came with the 273 gears. I'm wondering what the driving difference would be with 355 gears?

right now the low end is sluggish with the 273. I know the power doesn't kick in till Over 4000 rmps. will the 355's make a significant difference in the low end : 0 to 30 mph ?

Not looking to race the car, just want a little more power from the line.

Oh I would have my dealer ship do the work, they quoted a price around 350 dollars. With 6 gears not worried about mpg either.

thanks.

Higher gear ratios in the axle mean faster get up and go, higher RPM at cruise, speedo out of whack without correction, and less mileage per tank. And potentially easier wheelspins.

You might consider a less tall bump. From 273 to 323 (or would that be 325?) or such instead, a compromise between "neck breaking launches WHOO HOO " and "geez-and-crackers, the gas suckage. "
