Jumped on the Bob's oil separator band wagon

There's been a lot of talk about oil separators on the board so I thought I'd do some research and I went with Bob's. After corresponding with Steve of Bob's Auto Sports he set me up with the GT500 ultimate passenger side oil separator for my Roush setup by changing the lower 45 degree fitting to a straight fitting. This makes my previous JLT look tiny.

Nice professional looking installation, reminds me a bit of submarine engineering quality.

What strut tower brace do you have? I’ve been looking for one that clears the Roush blower on my ‘14 GT.

Thanks, I really like the way it turned out.

The STB is a 2009 GT500 stock brace.

Very nice. I responded to your other thread. I'll paste it here.

I'm glad you got the bobs too vs the jlt. I'm looking to do my own hoses and fittings. Can you describe how the fittings go on the end of the hose? And how does that secure on the fitting on the bobs? Screw on? Also how does the hose/fitting secure to the pcv connector?

I did research on mine too and that's why I ditched the jlt for the bobs.

I'm not a hose guy LOL so I bought it with the fittings on the catch can side already done by Bob's. For this Ultimate GT500 kit to work on the Roush setup the lower catch can fitting had to be removed (45 degree) for a straight connector. They left a generous amount of hose and I only had to cut it to length then use the shrink connectors on the engine side.

Looks familiar, I also check mine every 1K miles and use a sandwich bag. I get about the same amount as in your picture every time.

It is indeed. I have plans but they are on hold for a long while during this joyous transition. I'm still thinking about divising my plan to get the GT350 in the future. I'm all about planning these days but I'm very aware that plans are only good until the first shot is fired.....so to speak. Then it's shoot from the hip, no pun intended.
