Jonny Spark's Reversion

Johnny Spark's Reversion
First seen last year, Johnny has made some subtle revisions (reversions??).
I know it won't happen, but if S550 took that profile and rear end, you'd have my perfect Mustang.
Only the headlamps let this one down. Not sure if '13 lamps would look better, or if he should have just stuck with original '68s up front.
Stunning

One of the highlights of last year’s SEMA show was the spectacularly retro “Reversion” Mustang built by Johnny Sparks. The 23-year-old took a standard 2011 Mustang GT and fitted it with hand-fabricated body panels from 1968 and 1969 Mustangs, then finished it off with a coat of matte red paint.
Sparks is back at SEMA again this year with Reversion, although he’s made a few updates to the car since we saw it last. A coat of custom blue paint with gunmetal gray accents has replaced the red hue, which we think gives the car a more finished look, and the body has been revised to include a new lower valence, a new hood and a tucked rear bumper. The 1968 rear 3/4 window has been swapped out for the modern version, which Sparks says fits with the body lines better, and Forgeline wheels and Baer brakes have been added as well.

For me, Ford nailed the Mustang design with the '67 and '68 fastbacks (OK, a I prefer the '69 nose, but you can't beat a 67/68 rear end.....it's THE best looking rear of ANY car). Add in up to date mechanicals, creature comforts and bring the details (flush glass, modern "bumpers" etc) into 2012 and you have, in my eyes, perfection.
S550 ('15MY) won't look like this, but I wish it would 8->

I'm usually all about new and fancy, but **** this is amazing. Ford would never do this because people would whine that they can just buy a 68 and it's the same thing ( which is obviously not) but yesss I would so be all over this if came out.

definitely one of the best of the Modern gone very retro deals. That rear end is fantastic. I'd like to see some shots of this car that didn't have so much lens distortion on them so I could get a better idea of it's proportions.
I see alot of my Jackhammer in the back 3/4 of that thing.
