Ok so just so we are clear and I get the correct updated PCV valve so I do not have to purchase an oil seporator/catch can that I was going to order this week I want part 4L2Z-6A666-BA for my 2013 5.0 GT. And this is the updated PCV that is on the 2015 Mustang GT? And there will really be no need to order any aftermarket oil sep unit am I correct?

If that's the case shouldn't there be a TSB about this?

My tuner said to use the pcv from the ecoboost valve. Which is the valve part number I posted.

Just verified on ford parts tasca. That is the correct part number for the 3.5L ecoboost engine. And that is the valve Shaun said to get.

Part # 6A666(EV-289)

Just to be clear and confirm .. that is not the part listed for a 2015 5.0 Mustang .. so Ford has not changed PCV valves as stated earlier.

Great this is the part I will order then I will not bother with an Oil Seporator. Thanks!

I just wonder what kind of damage could be done in the long term by doing this. It might be fine for a tune, but for a stock motor/tune.... What might be the fallout?

My concern would be possible lack of crankcase ventilation.

I highly doubt that would be an issue
