So far I have come up with exactly bupkis in my search for a pistol grip style shift ****. Is there one out there that fits our 2011+ shifter?

I love the shifter in the Challenger...

I'm pretty sure Steeda carries one. Not my style but you can check their site...

I seem to remember that Barton were going to come out with one. I saw a pic somewhere and it was really nice. I think it had 5.0 engraved on the side. Try this link-http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/2011-mustang-talk/270462-pistol-grip-shifter.html

I know UPR makes one, but not sure if they have a 2011 one yet.

I don't think Bob Bondurant would approve of that.

I can picture some moron getting his head blown off by police when the cop tells the driver to put the car in Park and the driver reaches for that.

It's a wonder someone that stupid can figure out how to open a car door let alone drive one.

Thanks for the info, guys... I saw Steeda's but it's only for the 05-10 cars and it's a bit extreme looking...the Barton shifter is also fairly wild looking with the deep finger grooves but I dig it. I'll give them a a call today.

I didn't realize that this was a MoPar specific thing. I guess I spent the first 20+ years of my life drooling over MoPars exclusively and never noticed that the Chevys and Fords (that I walked right past at the car shows) didn't have them.

+1 on that. It's a really bad idea for a city car. The cops here in Miami are always jumpy to begin with, I can imagine it would end badly if the cop saw it from the driver window.

I just spoke with Dave from Barton and he said that they're very busy with the short throw shift kits so the pistol grip is a couple months out.

Probably worth the wait... but I'll keep looking around.

I can't help but wonder if the Challenger **** might have the same thread/diameter... hmm..
