Installed Drilless Front Plate Bracket

Picked up a plate from Craig's Custom Mustang Brackets (http://www.ccmustangbrackets.com/) and put it on today.

Was very easy to install and fits perfect. From the pics its hard to tell but there is a small rubber piece that prevents the bracket from hitting the bumper. The bolts for the license plates are a little longer than they need to be, but they don't rub against the bumper.

Is anyone going to offset their plate to one side, say the driver's side? I think it would look really good on the 2010+ cars, and planned on doing it to mine, when I was going to get one...

Looks nice!!! I'm lucky, we don't have front plates in Tennessee.

If you feel the bolts are a little too long, you may want to install them with the bolt heads facing the bumper and the threaded ends pointing forward.

I may just grab a different set that are a lot shorter.

FYI...I happened to find by accident that the wingnuts used to secure the clamps had loosened after a few months, even though the bracket was still attached. I re-tightened them and plan to re-check periodically to ensure that situation doesn't happen. It would not be so nice to have the front plate fly off at highway speeds.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did not use this initially, thinking that I might be taking the bracket off periodically to clean the bumper cover area behind the plate or for car shows. It might be time to use it, given what I found.

This is one of the best ideas I have seen, I have yet to attach a plate to my 2010 because I dont want to any drilling, and even the flip up plate had drilling into the bottom of the car, this seems like a much better idea and I will probably order one of these soon.

I have the same bracket on my '08.

Has not moved in over a year of all season driving.

Great product!
