Info on Whipple supercharger for 5.0
I don't know if this is late information or what not, but I found some info. on the upcoming Whipple supercharger for the new 5.0 over at svtperformance.com. Here's the link.

Well, I think those guys are dreaming but I guess we'll see.
And if Shelby is dropping those on bone stock Coyote bottom ends I bet they aren't going to be pushing more than 3-4 PSI max to be able to warranty them.

That's 600 Crank HP not at the wheel. That is totally possible.

It will be around the 7psi range...based on other information that has been shared in other forums.

Not about could it, it's about should it. Sure, it could easily make it, but how strong is it? I don't subscribe to that notion that it has a Cray Supercomputer that can stave off any and all issues related to high CR + boost + weak pistons and rods.

My 2 cents, I think the base kit with warranty will be 7 psi. I think the 5 psi kits were held back by the automatic transmision and not the motor. The new 6-speed auto should be bulletproof so the basic kit for both transmissions will be set higher. I'm curious which tranny is tougher, the new manual or new auto?
