well the V8 and 5.0 might be redundant here but the GT part isnt... Guess you dont know fox body's, the Fox body's were produced with 2 body styles, LX and GT. The LX had 3 Cylinder options 4 cyl, V6, and V8 5.0L.

So I'm not being redundant with the GT, I'm clarifying which body style I have...

but its all good thought i would just ask a simple question, hadn't realized I accidentally put some redundant terms in my sig XD

i know what your talking about Dreamtheory. I noticed this a while back on mustangforums. Seems like previous generations would only put AFTERMARKET mods in their sig, not factory options. I kinda noticed it started with the 2010+ guys. Maybe it started with the guys switching over from other forums? Do BMW guys put factory options in their sigs?

I can see putting things like brembo package and 3.73s, but security package? im waiting to see someone put "california special car cover" in their sig. i think its just the more superficial part of people that kinda just wanna brag about the options they got, ill tell you that when i get my mustang my sig will be as so:

2011 5.0, brembo package, 3.73s

I wont put in there that I got the 401A package cuz honestly, its a shift ****, door inserts, and a stripe on the seats. big deal, i will like my car how it is and dont feel the need to tell everyone "I spent $395 for the 401A package!"

and i certainly wont put future mods in my sig. or a car that i dont have yet for that matter. I saw a guy that had in his sig that he has a 2012 boss 302 with specifics like the color and everything, not even mentioning that he'll have it in the future. might be obvious that he doesnt have one yet but dont put a car you dont have and dont have on order yet in your sig

Actually I am quite knowlegable about fox bodies.

I am also know how to form a syllogism.

Therefore I said if one says 92 mustang gt then stating v8 and 5.0 is redundant.

I did not say if one says v8 then gt is redundant. Nor, did I say if one says 5.0 them gt is redundant. I am fully aware of the lx, a fave amongst racers.

Your signature is roughly equivalent to saying I have a Dalmatian, dog, canine. Dalmation is sufficient. Just as 92 mustang GT is sufficient. Personally I don't give a poop, we all do it, but since you are on a let's make fun of redundancy kick, it is worth pointing out.

NO ONE said that using GT was redundant. The first statement is pretty much never redundant, it's stating the thing over and over that is redundant.

I always thought the point of the signature was to let others know what options and/or mods were on your car so they could ask you about them if they were considering something similar . . .

Now that I realize that the purpose of the signature is to brag about your mods, I will remove mine, since I don't have any mods worth braggin' about.
