I need help calculating the X plan price

I need some help with the X plan pricing. I just found out that I’m eligible through my employer.

I would like to know what the price is before I talk to the dealer. I have researched and I’m confused as to what the price will be. It looks to me like it should be invoice -0.4% + $275 admin fee. + tax, tag and title.

This is what I have come up with.

2011 Mustang
V6
Auto
Red Candy paint
Ext sport package 101A (rear spoiler)
46D tape stripe delete

Invoice including D&D $23,395

$23,395 X .996 = $23,301
Admin fee 275
Tax 7% 1,650
Total before tag & title $25,226

Dealer Invoice - (0.4% * Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee*
*$275 Administration Fee for 2010MY vehicles, $75 Administration Fee for 2009MY and prior vehicles

Yes, the very site that confused me. The example doesn't match.

Don't worry about it, just ask the dealer -- they will check your PIN, plug your options into the system, and it will spit out the X-Plan price; there is no room for negotiation and no games allowed. They should be able to print out the quote from the system; if they cannot or do not, then I would suspect that they are playing games and go somewhere else.

By the way, some folks are claiming that they are getting better than X-Plan pricing, without X-Plan . . . so once you get the X-Plan price, you should ask them if they can do better without the X-Plan; or go to a different dealer and say "I'm ready to buy on X-Plan through a different dealer, can you beat that?"

Well, anyone who qualified for X-Plan through their employer should be able to get the partner code from their HR department. Each "partner" has its own.

However, a quick Google search gave me this one: XZ411. I searched: Ford Partner Code.

I used X-Plan on mine. Basically what you see on the sticker is what you will end up paying out of the door...maybe a little less. It covers a little more than what your TTL fees would be.

This is through the Experimental Aircraft Association... they don't have an HR department for me to call.
