I just brought my Mustang a week ago and it have the MyKey thingy and how do I know if that the key to disable MyKey because I cannot go faster than 80 m/h. I do what the instructions says to keep pressing SETUP but nothing happens. Is a 2011 Mustang HELP! In case of that the key that I have is not the right were can I go to take MyKey off?

 

why did they give just one key? yes you need both to disable Mykey speed limit

 

You don't need both keys. You need to use the admin key to disable mykey, which I'm assuming isn't the key that you have. I would suggest asking the dealer if they have the other one and forgot to give it to you.

 

Did you buy it from a Ford dealer? If so, make them program you another key. Without the 2 keys it will cost you some money to get a dealer or a locksmith to program another key.
