The Competition Orange was a V8 Boss, the car the guy who was taking the video was a V6, don't know what kind of car it was though.

That color is School Bus Yellow. The camera car is a G35.

The video isn't great, but I don't see anything that leads me to believe that Boss is fake. Right color, right stripes and right wheels (stock Boss wheels are hard to come by aftermarket). The only thing that is wrong is the rear spoiler.

Not sure what OP means by "I hope this is real". That the car is a Boss or that the car is a V6?

That in no way is a V6, that is long tubes with an X pipe and probably GT500 axle backs, WTF are you smoking OP?

Everybody was saying its a v6, because of the sound. And having no decklid panel emblem for the the boss... Listen to it, its a high pitched rasp, and has no rumble... you can put gt 500 quads on a v6... idk what to think

This. Old video is old. You can clearly hear the difference between the G35 VQ35 V6 with exhaust and the raspy LT equipped Boss (School Bus Yellow, Boss exclusive color at that).

You could put whatever exhaust you want on a V6, it will still sound like a V6.

You have LTs and/or Boss manifold? You'll need those too. But trust me, it'll sound beastly

That's why I have the HF cat pipes on the way too. I miss that beastly cold start and around town nastiness haha

Yellow car is most definitely a V8. Looks like it has Corsa or GT500 quads, or Magnaflow. My guess is Corsa or Magnaflow.

Check out the video for the Corsa Sports. I think it sounds similar. Perhaps the Boss had res-delete with this system?

I'd be willing to bet the vast majority of people couldn't tell just by listening without some visual clue. Especially from a cell-phone video.

Car people can. Which is what we are. Hell, my fiancée can tell the difference now and she's not even a car person.

OP I'm confused with this thread? Did you think the SBY Boss sounded like a V6? It clearly sounds like a burbly V8?
