Last night, I was meeting up with my wife and kids for dinner. On the way there, I noticed a silver Lexus (I think it was an es350 or something like that), a relatively new one, say 2010 or so, tailing me pretty hard. I look at the driver via rear view, and he's a relatively middleaged man...you know a typical lexus driver. lol. I think nothing of it, then at a stoplight he pulls up next to me, and starts REVVING his engine. I usually don't look at drivers next to me, but I laughed to myself and said WTF. Light turns green, and he FLOORS it. I didn't do nothing because I don't participate in that kind of stuff AND I was still laughing. He continued on his merry way.

I just thought this was hilarious. A Lexus owner? As Keyshawn says, "COME ON MAN".

Does this happen to you guys too? Maybe he was just jelly of my new borlas looks and sound? Lol

I used to get that a lot with my other Stangs. I think most people know better than to mess with the Coyote.

 

I get a lot of people around here that try and mean mug me or try to race me for no reason. Of course I live on a military installation and if anyone has been in the military longer than a day, they know all soldiers think they bad....lol.

My wife's 2012 GT seems to attract a lot of undesirable attention like this. Especially Jettas and Imprezas. I don't get it.

 

The ones that seem to have something to prove are the guys with the big loud trucks of any brand. They are always the ones initiating stuff from my experience.

Thanks to them, I realized that a 5.4L Titan is really not as mean as it appears. I think I could jog faster than one of those boats.

 

Happens to me in Miami ALL THE TIME. And its not the camaros or challengers that do this. Its the luxury owners. I had a guy in a maserati (amazing stock exhaust) red light rev me yesterday on the way home. I had a highway taunt by a C350 the day before. And a new GS tailgate me for half a mile earlier this week.

 

Isn't ISF also starting at 68k, not worth the money.

Jed and Rita had no idea that the Lexus get away car they had just heisted in the robbery was actually a Toyota!

 

I had a Challenger pull in front of me in a left turn lane that had its own traffic light. They sat on the brakes until the light went from Green to Yellow, and then quickly turned toward the right into the straight lane and zoomed off as the light turned Red. They had cornered me from making my left turn and wasted about 120 seconds of my life since I had to wait for the traffic light to cycle.
It was more funny than anything else.

 

Around here too. Hondas and huge lifted turbo diesels annoy the hell out of me everywhere I go. Some of those diesels are beasts though.

Don't know about the 5.4L but my dads 5.6L is definitely not slow. (For a stock full size pick up)

 

i haven't run into to many people trying to start anything against me. Was on private property of this organization and a trans am was going the opposite way and rev'd his engine as i drove by. Than had a guy in a hyundai of some sort. Gun it in front of me. The area was kinda low on people so i gave him the pleasure of seeing my tail lights blow past him after his 6 car length lead lol

though my car being black i dont think it draws as much attention as brighter color cars do.

 

I love black mustangs. I notice those more than any other color because all the car rental places around here don't have black. Every other color except black.

I had a big macho tattooed guy in a red neck lifted truck pull up next to me and start cussing me out for being on the phone. I wasn't on the phone btw. I was shuffling tunes on my iPhone.

I said nothing and simply took my sunglasses off and proceeded to open my glove compartment to put them in...

Long story short: That was a fast truck! The minute I reached down he floored it outta there!

I couldn't catch him if I tried.

 

Actually sorry the ISF starts at 61,300, but it's only 416 hp and 0-60 in 4.6. So I don't know about beating a stang.

 

The ISF is probably modified if it can beat up on a 5.0. They're pretty close to a 5.0 stock, but at 4.7 sec to 60 and 13.1 quarter, there's no way they can beat a 5.0 driven correctly. A stock 5.0 can easily run sub 4.5 to 60 and a high 12 sec quarter. Now modify the 5.0 a little bit and see how it does against that modified ISF.
