And i could understand if you ask for permission if he is the one making all the money in the relationship. But if you work as well and you contribute evenly to the relationship you shouldn't have to be asking permission to mod YOUR CAR. like you said, he has his own car, he can do as he wishes with it.

Just my 2 cents
Thanks, that's how I feel!

The ladies in my life only service one stick.

No one gets my keys.

Ever.

I guess I and my car are little *****...I don't care who drives it, as long as they have insurance. But then, I don't care too much about my current car. But even if I got a new GT, I'd still let anyone who asked me drive it (friends/fam obviously, not strangers )...

I thought since your fiance wasn't really for the move to get the Mustang he wouldn't be happy about it. Sure seems happy enough to drive it!!

haha yeah

I was thinking though, since I'm paying for this car I'm doing what I want with it, it is my car after all. I was nice enough to get his approval when I bought it since we would be married next year and I would still be paying on it. Him and I don't usually argue, and I usually give in just because I don't like to fight, but I've decided this is something I enjoy doing so yeah, I'll get mods when I have money saved and it's a good time to buy them, I'll still be reasonable about it.

Is it at least one of the ZX2 models with the 5 speed?

I don't think I've gone a full day without driving mine, but I did have to turn around my Explorer in the driveway about two weeks ago and that thing SUCKS compared to the Mustang, now.
It went from once in a while to keep it going to trail only duty. Fast.

I figured as much, this is what a few (or a lot) of mods will do.

Side note: ok guys, don't hate on me too much here, I was just a kid but I put a lot of hard work into this thing. I even brought home a few trophies from showing it. The funny thing is that I actually miss this car from time to time, at least until I remember that it was slow as s**t.

Haha, thanks. That thing was so slammed that I'm still recovering from kidney damage. I had it so low that it would see-saw into parking lots when I pulled in at an angle.

Anyone else unlucky enough to be forced to share their stang???
The day after mine arrived I left for a 3 week vacation in San Fran/Napa.

I love traveling, so my mind wasn't really dwelling on my car back home, but still. I can't quite sympathize when you've only been away from yours for a day

WOW four weeks that is crazy!!

When I got my Mustang, I went on vacation 3 days later for 8 days, sure did miss her. Then I got back home and was home for two weeks then had 13 days away as an instructor for training (military) and didn't take her with me.

I use my daily driver (98 Saturn SC-1) when its really bad out (rainy/sloppy out), but also trying to find time to ride my motorcycle, but since I got he Mustang, the Mustang wins in "what should I take today?" 75% of the time! lol.

If you really want to experience Mustang withdrawal, go over to France for a week or two . . . you'll be lucky to even SEE one over there.

Am I a bad person because I miss my Mustang (almost) as much as my daughter when I'm away?

That sounds rough. Definitely makes things easier when the Partner understands "The Sickness".

My GF loves my Pair o Ponies and we even modded her previous 2 together. She is hoping to get into a new 5.0 soon and mod away.
