hurst billet shifter 2

hey everyone I just ordered this shifter for my car and I tried making the spring tighter for reverse but didn't feel much different and that's because I even used a ratchet with a hex socket and tightened it as much as I possibly could (bolt was completely flush with the shifter base) and I still found it easy to slip into reverse. Is it just that I have to get used to it? Are all the others the same?

The spring on my Barton is much stiffer than stock so getting into reverse is a little more effort.
