But like you said, knowing Ford, 380 is really 400 and 425 is really 445. Like the '03 Cobra, 390hp was really 420hp.

Hopefully these numbers reflect the truth !!!! I allways wished that the current Gt would have come with the 00' Cobra R's 5.4 D.o.h.c. and a six speed. This would have been great at 385 h.p./385 ft lbs underated. This would have been a better transition to buyers not quite ready for that Shelby GT500 bill.
