Hey everyone I was wondering if its possible to shuffle albums, not songs with sync?

 

the way I do it, is use the music player on the phone to do whatever you want, then simply use 'Bluetooth audio'. It picks up whatever you have playing, whether it's a playlist, an album, or a shuffle. You can ffwd or rewind from the radio controls.

I don't think you can do that. 'Shuffle all' will play everything on the source (USB stick anyway) in random order, or least skip around albums. Both of my Mustangs with SYNC performed this without any problems.

The MyFordTouch in our Escape behaves differently in that it very seldom keeps track of where it was in the shuffle (although it does occasionally), and when it starts over it starts with the same song every time and THEN shuffles. It also won't play the entire album if I pick one from the menu... it will play a varying number of tracks and then quit. The tech team doesn't like for me to carry on about MFT on these forums, but no one has ever invited me to go have the unit replaced either... so sometimes I can't help myself. Without question, I have an extra-buggy one.

 

Sync is on the way out thankfully. I heard they are going to be using some new technology bought from Blackberry.

 

Has anyone heard if we will be able to update sync to the new system?
