How much would you pay for a 2010 mustang GT coupe loaded. BUT no glass roof. I am talking a standard prem GT. I am thinking 25k is a good starting point plus a few thousand for a SC.
I called 4 ford dealers today and the prices they gave me did not please me. I would only go with a 2010 if I was going to get a ford racing whipple kit on it.

Not going to happen that cheap yet.
I think a loaded 2010 premium could be bought for $7000-$7500 off sticker and that would put one in the $27,500-$28,500 range.
You could buy a no option premium for about $25,000 right now.
Also depends on how far you are willing to go for one too.

In the NYC/Long Island market, they ain't discounting anything. I was shopping for a '10 GT Premium since last December; wasn't getting anywhere near invoice, even for demos! In their mind, it's my price, or no sale. Meanwhile, there are plenty of '10s sitting on lots here. So I ordered an '11 instead.
The least expensive premium near me is advertised for $26,195, a no option premium so its sticker would be a little over $31,000 and if you had cash in hand you could probably get it down to about $25,000.
I actually like the 2010 back end. Dunno why exactly. I used to not like the S197 body all that much at all, but for me it's been improved constantly since inception and I'm quite happy with how the 2011 looks now. I'd probably contentedly pay 26k for a 2010, but I probably wouldn't pay more than 30, but that's just me and honestly my opinion is colored by the competition.
Now how much I would pay to take a 2010 over a 2011? Yeah, now we're looking closer to 26k, and I probably still wouldn't do it, haha. The 2010s are going to go to drivers who don't care about the extra horsepower and torque on the 2011, and they're probably not coming off because they want to target those people, not performance enthusiasts who value the engine above all else.

I know Job 2 is gonna have Yellow ... but I didn't want another Yellow car.
You can get a 2010 to equal the performance of a 2011 without a supercharger, even surpass the 2011 if you want to go that deep into the motor. A supercharger will put a 2010 way past a 2011 in performance and until the superchargers for the 2011 are as proven as the ones for the 3 valve are I will remain skeptical of their potential.
I will be a buyer for a 2010 if I can ever get all the $$$ together to do it.

You have an interesting taste in colors, my friend. I kinda wish there were a few more unique color options too. I've kinda wanted a car with some sort of ice blue metallic. If it were done right, I'd get it on a Mustang.
And eh, it's a new engine. It'll be a few years I figure before we get into the good mods that are proven reliable. Just in time for the 50th anniversary 2014s I guess.

And will love to blow the doors off guys with 2011's that think there is no way that a 2010 should be able to...
18-23? Lol, 2009s are still selling for that much, or more. I bet the '10s will only go for a few thousand less. Most people buying Mustang's don't need 400hp. They'll be willing to save several thousand for 315+hp.
