The complete picture of a good deal would include a 0% or 1.99% loan for 60 months and kelly blue book trade in value. More people have trade ins and financing than have clean cash deals. The dealer makes their money one way or another.

The financing now is excellent either through Ford or through many banks, pending credit.
I will be doing about a 2% loan for 48 months, and I was able to sell my other car in a private sale (got pretty lucky!)

I paid cash. I traded 1 car in and paid the rest in cash. You would think they prefer cash but they actually prefer financing because they can make more money off that.

I noticed a lot of you guys are paying very high T&T fees. Pennsylvania has what I would consider to be an average sales tax of 6% and I only paid $950, remember, I paid $17,000 in cash too. I see you guys getting these awesome deals but then getting hammered in T&T.
y5e06- ****, how much did they charge you for the bogus advertising fee, fuel charge? It seems like they gave you a good and deal then got it back through that.

For tax, at least in CT, if I were to trade in a car for say $10k, the tax I paid on it I get applied towards a new car. So my guess is many of the people here are buying outright (like myself) and not trading something in so we're not getting any tax refunds.
Ideally I'd register this to my parents in NH and pay zero taxes... but that's not so easy now that I don't live there. And haven't for 11 years

As far as taxes go,can't really get around that unless your doing a trade and for someones first time buying,i would highly recommend never doing, ever.Keep it as simple as possible.I won't let them even put taxes in the deal,i pay my taxes at the license branch when i get my plates.Maybe that's not an option everyone can get.In that case,i would just add more money down to equal what ever the taxes come out to.
There is only so low you can go,when you start reaching the point where you are haggling over $100-$500,i don't see a point to keep pushing and squeezing. At that point, you are just taking money from the salesman,he needs to make a living like everyone else.Unless he has been a total jerk of course

Actually i filled out about 10 of them at once, using, pet names, wifes, kids.I had 4 different emails i used.Got 8 brochures back,3 had the $750 and the rest were for financing.

Ordered like 10 as well, each and every one had 750 off coupons. I think when you request them has something to do with it. Mine was toward the end of the model year.

Exactly, nice feature and better. in my audi which has big screen but when you back up you loose sight of all that is around you if you look at the screen. so this is neat little feature that mustang has. love it

I didn't even fill out any requests lately and got 4 of them in the mail yesterday. ALL of them had a $750 coupon. Of course I'm not in the market right now .. but I did have a coupon when I bought my car last year also.
