How much did you pay for your 13-14 Mustangs?
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I purchased my first Mustang ever earlier this month. I bought a 2014 Mustang GT(of course). I originally thought I got a great deal, however, I got excited rushed the process and pulled the trigger on the first one I saw that I liked. I payed exactly $28,500 cash and I believe the invoice is $28,300. The more I sat and thought about it and the more I looked through my paper work (which I should have done before I bought it) I realized I may have gotten ripped off. I noticed looking through the paper work that I actually paid MSRP $30,000 minus a $1,500 rebate. I immediately felt stupid and thought I at least paid $1,500 too much. I feel I deserve being ripped off for rushing and being an idiot but I was curious to what you all paid.

I'll bite
2014 Mustang GT with track package and recaro seat package
$32,100 minus $1500 incentives for $30,600 (plus tax $2k and registration $200)
I'm quite satisfied with my pricing. Did you get any options?

I bought a 2013 GT premium with track pack, comfort pack, and deck wing. Sticker was 38,595, paid 32k out the door with x-plan, rebates, coupon, and a bit of luck . Put 8k down and my license plate number is........

dmichaels- That is an outstanding price. The MSRP was $32,000?
No options, I got a base GT coupe. I thought it would trade better next year if I decide to trade it for the 2015. I thought I might not get it back with extra options
steven46746- That sounds about right. That is still a good price, I'm not a good haggler I suppose.

A little over $60k for mine.
Whut?
Agree with Joe, why torture yourself about it now? You can't get the money back, let it go, enjoy what you have.

I know you guys are right. I suppose I have a touch of buyers remorse, but not because of the car just for being impulsive . I just wanted to gauge how bad I messed up...

Elkk- That's an awesome price. I just went off of KBB's invoice of $28,300 and stupidly didn't push it past that.
Danielle- How did you spend so much? A base GT convertable is like $35,000 if I remember right.

You did just fine. I have bought many new cars in my life and often paid more than I thought I should have paid. That feeling fades away in short time and then it's on to the next crisis. Not to worry..relax and enjoy it. you only go around once. Congrats on your new ride!!

Typesredline- That is a good deal. I think if I would have realized that Ford was offering $1,500 cash back then I would have pushed it to a few hundred above invoice ($28,500) then applied the $1,500 rebate, thus bring it to a total of $27,000. On one hand its only $1,500 on the other hand thats like basically 2 weeks pay . $1,500 lesson learned.
BTW, Stupid question- How can you have back up cameras without the nav screen?
