My 13 gets here in a few days and I think I'll be keeping it for a long time, I can see ford already getting off track of the old mustang we all really like so anymore modern changes ton this body and it won't be for me

All you guys saying you're going to keep it for 7+ years/forever really aren't considering the electronics in these things - they will be severely outdated in just a couple years and I guarantee you Ford will stop offering firmware updates to get you to buy a new car. They aren't built to last like they used to be. I'd say the SN95s were the last of that kind of simple car that could last forever, MAYbe the 05-09s, but the 10+...I just don't see it, especially working in the tech industry.
Oh no, how will I ever survive?
I don't suppose you can explain to me why my base model Mustang would even need a firmware update, can you? You see, I'm a network administrator by trade, and generally speaking if it's working now it doesn't need a firmware update to continue working.

I can't imagine selling the Boss right now, but I admit I like having the newest toys. Hopefully I'll be in a financial situation to hang on to my current car while picking up whatever the new SE's are. Or maybe a C7.

I do my homework before I buy, and never buy new. Since the only issue of the 2011 was the noisy 3.7 (I have an automatic, so no issues with the standard transmission), I went forward with the purchase.
I may buy a 2015, but it wont be new, nor will I be standing in line to get the first ones off the truck. Or, I'll be buying one of the many garage queens I read about here as they buy the 2015...

My 2013 is the first car I have ever custom ordered from a car manufacturer. The fact it was built exactly to my specifications makes it that much more special to me. That and it is without a doubt the most fun car I have ever owned, hands down. I have a feeling I will be holding on to this car for awhile.

Are you saying my power windows and power mirrors will be outdated and I can't get firmware updates for them?

At least until The SRT Barracuda hits the streets. I will likely trade up at that point. Otherwise, i seriously love my 2011 and could see myself growing old with it.
