My drive is about 20 miles one way. It consists of about 12 miles country two lane road, 4 miles in town, and 4 miles highway. I'm on the road pretty early in the a.m., so traffic can be very light at times.

The fast way is 9.5 miles and 16 minutes, but they oiled and stoned a two mile section of that road so I steer far clear of that and take the slightly longer way at 9.9 miles and 18 minutes.

What are these "work" and "commute" things of which you speak? I'm not familiar with these terms.

I used to commute 45 miles each way daily. Retired from that job at the end of May, opened a new law office and now only 4.5 miles on the days I go in to the office (nice being able to say "I'm not working on Monday and Friday so don't book any appointments")

About 40 miles round trip mostly highway. 3v4.6 with 3.55 and 5 speed manual i average about 18mpg on the race tune and about 23mpg on street tune. I have a MPG tune for commuting but never really use it. Id have to say its more fun with the v8 though i came from a ranger on the same commute averaging 21mpg so its an all around improvement for me roughly same mpg but double the fun under the hood. 32mpg seems like a bold oversell and those numbers are perfect conditions on a flat road. I have never seen a car hit the EPA estimates in real life. So trading solely based on that may be a bad idea. May consider renting an EB for a week and see what real world numbers are like before doing the deal. And calculate it out and see what the break even point would be with the new note vs. MPG gain.

I just go downstairs to my basement...the company offered to pay my phone and Internet, so I jumped at it 3+ years ago.

60 miles, occasionally six days per week. I took delivery 12/5/14 with 550 miles on the ODO - now, the car has 26,000 miles...this one will be the high mileage thrasher - not what I had in mind for my eventual GT, but oh well...

I'm doing 23 miles each way. I'm about 1 mile from the house to the highway, and the office is overlooking the highway. I also work 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm every day, so I'm rarely in any sort of traffic. Working later makes a huge difference in Atlanta.

5 miles each way.

Reason why I very very very rarely, if at all, drive Marilyn to work anymore. Tori sees the brunt of DD duties. It's not worth it to get Marilyn all warmed up for a 9 minute commute to work and back, only to sit in a parking lot and get dust on her. I'd rather drive her when I get home.

For over 10 years (3 years with the Mustang) I've had a 70 mile round trip (1 hour or over each way with traffic) commute daily. I fly around for work about 50% of that time so in reality on average I only did this commute 2 of 4 weeks in a month. I moved a few months ago and now my commute to work is 12 miles (15 minutes each way) round trip. I have no traffic (all local streets) to speak of. It makes such a huge difference and I'm loving it! The only thing is now I've got to make "special" trips to get some "spirited" driving done but I manage lol.
