How accurate are the track Apps

I’m curious if anyone knows how accurate the built in Track Apps are on the 2014 GTs? Specifically the 0-60 and ¼ mile timers. I don’t see how they could be at all accurate since the rear tires would probably be spinning, thus throwing off any kind of accurate info on how well the car performed. Does anyone know if they really are accurate or how they work?

Tried it in my '14 GT at our local dragstrip. It showed my ET several tenths worse than it really was and it overstated my trap speed by 5-6 mph. Haven't used it since.

No idea since I don't know how high the data sampling is nor how direct it is. If it's getting the info from the computer first and then extrapolating, you're going to get a lot of error. If you have access to a strip, take it out there and run it (like Brian did). Compare the numbers to your time slip and find out how close they are.

Mine is inaccurate on a few of the times. When I run 1/4 mile it also records a 0-100 of 2.4 secs, but my 0-60 is 5.1.

I'm suspicious of the accelerometer. It seems to be more sensitive in right turns than it is when going left. I need to find a good skid pad for testing.
