Hot vs Cool weather performance effects, 3rd gear 20-90mph test

a friend of mine was arguing that new cars these days use computers to create equal amount of power in hot or cold weather by somehow adjusting things somehow and hot weather should not effect the engines performance at all... so i made a little video for him and figured id post it up, since im sure there are many that also think heat doesnt effect the performance.

test is to go in 3rd gear, 20mph-90mph (redline) as fast as possible without shifting, both attempts are done with full tank of 91 octane, AC off. first test was done in 104 degrees and second at 79 degrees. results can not only be felt but also have a major time difference.
