Seems like they are always going on sale. Got mine on sale during the 4th of July. If you are patient they will go on sale again soon.

Redline just made loyal customer out of me. I installed the struts on my Stang a couple of months ago and they've been great. Today I received a package from Redline that contained redesigned hood ball-studs that solve a clearance issue that some people have complained about (but not me). That's the kind of customer service I can get behind!

Only clearance issue I've read about concerned the struts hitting the strut tower somewhere, but in the install instructions it tells you to push the hood ball stud as far to the outside as it will go and this will alleviate that issue.

Guess it pays to read and follow the directions.

You got the new style ball studs like I got today. My original ones could not be pushed to the outside.

They'll be back on sale somewhere.

I think it was CJ's that had them on a one day sale a few weeks ago but I didn't have the extra $$$ then. Just as well though as LRS had them cheaper when they put them on sale.

Just keep your eyes out for the next sale and don't forget the forum discount if you can't stand to wait.

Ah, I got you.

At least they keep up with and listen to their customers issues.

I did the original drill mount ones and still love them. I really should get around to peeling the labels off though. They look a lot better without them.

I second this. I got the same ones back in May and they have been great. I didn't have the clearance issue but was very pleased with the customer service as well. The original install was easy. I was a little worried about the replacing the ball-studs but that turned out to be very easy as well.

My car is black so no color issues there but I agree about the stickers and will be taking mine off this weekend.

I like the idea of getting rid of the decals. It does look more like factory without them. As far as free advertising, if and when I finally get my car and install the Redlines, I will freely advertise them by word of mouth, without the decals. Good people and companies deserve praise when it's earned.

The redline decals look kind of cool but I'll probably be taking them off too soon, before they bake themselves on lol.

CJ Pony parts usually Includes them in their frequent 20% off sale and I believe they have a sale running now. Anyone interested check it out.

Since I don't have any clearance issues I don't plan on replacing the ball studs. I'll just hang onto them just in case.

Looks good, Ltngdrvr. This is also the very first mod I will be doing, and like you I stripped the stickers off. The struts look much cleaner without them, and since my car will be black there's no issue for me in terms of paint matching. I still don't understand why Ford doesn't install these on their hoods. It's simple, easy, inexpensive and it looks SO much better than the hood prop.

For the struts themselves?

Either from redline or from a parts store by cross referencing the number on the struts or just matching them to another strut.

If you're really clever, poke around McMaster and find the struts and ball studs and make your own. I've seen it done before on other cars.

They went off sale right after I ordered them, that night was the end of the sale.

They'll be back on sale with one of the Mustang parts places, seen them on sale twice now in the last 4 weeks.
