Home and safe in the garage!!
Picked her up!! First thing I noticed...it is way to quiet so ordering the GT500's today. My 12 was a lot louder driving it up there to trade it in!!!
I had them leave all the plastic on the interior, so will take that off in a few weeks, but she sure has some power...and I wasn't even getting on it!!!!
I think my 12 was crying when I drove off.......

Yeah, front plates are the law in Texas too... I made it really clear if holes were drilled in the front bumper I wouldn't take delivery. I have the bracket and the plate in the trunk...
Have fun!

Same thing I said. I said if anyone removed the wrap other than me, more so drilled the front plate, I wouldn't take delivery.

Anyway, JC I Kinda figured you'd get a flip up plate to avoid the bracket. Either way, your car looks great and can't wait to hear about your reaction making the jump from v6 to v.8!

^At least you had a say. I bought mine with the bracket installed already...and for two little holes I have purchased an entire new bumper. Yes, I'm that obsessed. Well, JC, you can't say I didn't show you an alternative. With the state name and the entire plate number visible I'll never get any hassle about my front plate. I have no holes in the bumper and the plate doesn't look at all bad.
Anyway, glad to hear yours is home safe and sound and I hope you get decent weather to get her out and enjoy her real soon. I'll have had mine for one year tomorrow and am closing in on 18K miles and it is still an incredible car.

The joy of a new car...
and a monster mustang at that! Can't wait to see what else you do to it!
When I lived in Texas, they stopped me once because of no front plate, and I talked my way out of it. I don't think they care. It's just an excuse to pull over a questionable person. In Illinois, I think they are a little stricter. So far in Washington State, no one has bothered me.
Enjoy the new car!
