I grew up in Newfoundland, Canada. And we had moose a plenty. If you were driving a bigger truck (dodge ram or somewhat lifted Chevy or ford) or a 2500 or F-250 series you were fine.

If you were driving a car and hit a moose, you would snap it off at it's legs, at which point it would obliterate the roof of the car and 9 times outta 10 it would kill whoever was inside.

 

 

Yes, deer versus Mustang, cosmetic damage most of the time.


Unlike, say, a smart car:

 

Car is being repaired as I speak....$5000 in damage..Holy $#^%! Well good new is all OEM parts. I will pick my baby up Tuesday of next week. Thanks for everyone's support and great laughs. The Smart Car is a great post as with the deer and front end built like a train! LOL
