Higher Octane in 3.7

does anyone know of any pros/cons of running higher octane gas in the new 3.7's? just curious. thanks!

It will add power just like it does in the 5.0, just not as much, like 3-5 HP going up to 93 from 87.

also, i read that the 5.0 HP #'s were measured on 93 octane (verify?)
is this true for the 3.7's too?

As I remember, they're tuned for 91 as 93 isn't available in many states.

The 3.7's quoted 305 HP number was achieved on 87 octane.

American Muscle did a dyno test using 87 vs 93 octane gas on the V-6. The V-6 makes 7 more rear wheel horsepower with 93 octane gas .

I did not know that! I thought 93 was available everywhere in the US.

I was stationed in Utah and there is no such thing as 93 up there only 91

the BP on my way home from work has 6 cents off 93 on wednesdays. cant say no to that!
