Great thing about these is price, staggered look, and free mounting and balancing, BUT unfortunately Mickey Thompson does NOT offer a tread life warranty, so I'm worried about their longevity, especially considering I will be unable to rotate the tires between the front and rear.

Love the idea of 9.5" fronts. This option would definitely handle the best. Hankook also offers a 50,000 mile tread warranty. This option would be at least $200 more than the other options.
Option 3:
20"x8.5" Charcoal AMR with Hankook Ventus V4 ES
Same PepBoys 3 tires get 1 free deal and same 50,000 mile warranty. Total would only be $1132.59 but still BEFORE MOUNTING AND BALANCING.
I love the way 20" Charcoals look on black mustangs, but these are only 8.5" rear wheels, so I would sacrifice the staggered look of option 1.

I ended up spending more money than I wanted to just so I could buy exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to buy something cheaper and try to save a couple hundred now only to regret it later. I ended up putting 20x10 on all four corners and couldn't be happier. If I was you, I would go with option number 2 with 275/40 tires.

10s can work in the front for a street car? I've researched it before, but I thought people only did that for race/autocross. Never heard of anyone doing it on a daily driver.
If your trying to save some money, you probably won't be happy with staggered setup, down the road. If you have an alignment issue with the fronts, and get abnormal wear, you will have to buy new front tires prematurely. If you have a 9.5" square setup, you can move the front tires to the back, and buy some time before purchasing new ones. I have a staggered setup, which I like. I just have to pay more attention to the front end alignment and wear. Go with the 19 ×9.5" , 275/40 or some have used 285/35 also.

Exactly. Wear and tire rotation is what's making this complicated. And I hadn't considered alignment issues so thanks for pointing that out.

Option 1 would require me to change rear tires after 25k miles ($400 plus m&b) because I won't be able to rotate between the front and rear. Hopefully I wouldn't have abnormal wear on the fronts and be forced to replace them too.
Neither option is perfect, but nothing is I guess.

Mainly appearance. No drag strip or track. Car is main DD. I do drive it year round but rarely in inclement weather, and never in snow or ice. Secondary car does that job.
Car is black and looking to blackout the car as I mentioned earlier.
