It's not the first time theres' been problems with a new engine design, regardless of make. Time will tell.
I doubt it though.

ZOMG! I'm canceling my '11 GT order now!!! Think I can mortgage the house and buy the '11 GT500 that's in stock at my local dealer now? The sun will have gone super-nova by the time the note's due anyway?

I doubt if it's a problem. If I had the money, I'd buy a 5.0 tomorrow.

Well, considering the OP of the thread doesn't even know where the new 5.0L Coyote is built, I'm going to call BS on this one. It's built at Ford's Essex plant, not Windsor.

EDIT: He may have meant "Windsor" as in the town or city, but I digress.

Dunno about you guys, but I haven't heard about any 5.0s exploding or something yet. Mine is perfectly fine as it is, and I am very happy with it. The power is good, and it's been put to high RPM plenty of times, including the red line. I have no issues, and if there is an issue that serious I'm pretty sure Ford would be legally obligated to fix it, either by recall or warranty.

Dude, how do you expect us to take you seriously when this guy has information from a friend of a friend of a cousin who's a friend of a guy that washes the car of a Ford Engineer?! I mean, come on!
