I was waiting at the light to make a left when a 1980ish primed camaro drives by and sticks a thumbs down, I started to laugh.

Any camaro's or any other cars out there hating on your ride?

about 4 months ago i pulled into a gas stationg to get gas,
got out of the car and some kid in a black honda vtec says...
" i heard you pull in, then I saw the "5.0" on your car and my ***** shrunk"

 

That is funny! Kudos to that kid and his sense of humor.

I was wAshing my car on Saturday when a grey hyndai(sp) tiberon stopped revved it to the limiter than took off....some people just really love there cars i guess.

I actually get alot of compliments ( and I return it) from Vettes and NEW camaros. All are nice rides!

 

This is how I react to those kinds of folks:

 

Actually, it's a compliment. If they guy didn't respect the car, he wouldn't have made any gesture at all.

For example, it wouldn't occur to you to give the Camaro guy the thumbs down because it's just understood that his car is crap.

 

Not so much a thumbs down, but a lot of up.

Except there was this one time like a month back with an older red camry/Corolla, something like that. Well it had the pep-boys special...light up exhaust tip, neon lights all over, big Chinese letter stickers on the back window, and about 6 dudes piled inside.....I'm sure you know the type. Well they decided to chase me down after I guess I might have cut them off. Caught up to me at a stoplight. Started throwing up what appeared to gang signs, however I was in suburbia and started laughing....not a good idea. Since there were 6 of them and 1 of me I decided it was best to get the truck outta there. Took it out towards some back roads and thankfully they couldn't keep up.

 

That's a little scary- those kinda people are nutballs-good thing you could outdrive em

lots of compliments but I also have 2 funny stories

1. older 90's Camaro started tailing me so I left him in the dust...catches up to me at a stop light stops beside me and tries to do a burnout...FAILS miserably and I just laugh at him and show him how to do a real one...needless to say he got mad and drove away lollll

2. Volkswagen Eos with an older gentleman....I was just driving normally minding my own business when I hear this guy revving the **** out of his engine coming to the stop light...first of all it was an Eos so I had to laugh....second of all I dunno where he was going and what he was trying to prove...but I ignored him and it made him even more mad lol...there was traffic in front of us and he kept flooring it and slowing down trying to show me his fast acceleration lol....me and my buddies just laugh at him because he looks really stupid doing it....then he comes up beside us and goes it's a 4 vs an 8!.....we're just like wtf? we're not even racing the guy lol....and he goes again YA 4 cylinder vs an 8!!...we just laugh at him again. Come to another stop light, my buddy yells to him "Hey, my wife drives the same car"...rev my engine to make him think i'm going to race him...and just watch him take off down the road like an idiot.

 

i've BLOWN away 3 ricers, 1 chevy tahoe SS (i think?) which was pretty fast but come on..., the last incident was some guido in a avalanche (yeah i don't know what he was thinking on that one)

in all honesty i thought i would get alot of action, but people seem to respect the 5.0
