It has arrived...well almost

My car showed up at the dealer today, but since service was closed, they couldn't PDI it. I'll pick her up tomorrow morning. The car was filthy, covered in rail dust. Pics, of course:

Hell, take it as is and detail it yourself, you'll do a better job than they will.

And you'll take the care needed to prevent swirls in the new paint...

I tried. It has to go through a pre-delivery inspection in the service department first. Without that, there could be a liability issue. I'm getting her in the morning anyway, so I just have to make it through one more night.

They would not let me take mine without going through prep either.. though I still had to take a claybar to it to get the dust/dirt off from travel

I'm having the dealer mech. prep mine only. They are instructed to leave paint and interior alone, which wasn't a problem.

When I bought my 2010 GT off the lot, I asked for "no exterior wash" and the dealership abided by it. Inspecting and filling up with gas is one thing, but washing is another.

Very nice! That looks like team ford in Marietta off Cobb parkway? If so I have bought a few cars from them including my 2003 cobra.

Do they take xplan pricing that you know of?

Why are the windows down? Did they give you the keys and you lowered them?
Red on red...that's different.

Yep, you are right. Yes, I ordered this one under X-Plan.

When the sales manager brought it around front for me to see, he had the windows down. It was shipped with them up, I saw it in the back lot when I got there.

I love your choice: Wingless and red interior. Mine is same, except silver exterior. Hopefully I'll be getting it any day.

Nice!!! Mustang. I guess he is out burning the tires off by now LOL!!!

If he recommends his salesman to you, i think you both will get 2 or 3 hundred dollars. I think thats how my dealer does it on referrals.

LOL David!! That would be nice if they do the referrals here as well. I have bought 3 cars from them over the last 6 years as well.

I hope Ryan's boss doesn't look at this web site or he'll realize pretty quickly why Ryan called in "sick" this morning!

It has arrived...well almost--Updated--Home with pics

Thanks for the compliments guys! I brought her home today, and I must say, WOW! This car is better than I expected, just amazing! The only surprise at the dealer was that my wife had a $750 coupon under her name, so I was able to use that too. That was a very pleasant surprise to say the least. Todd03blown, PM headed your way with salesman info, he rocked! Here are a few pics:
