Has anyone went from a Barton to the MGW short shifter?

I currently have the Barton short throw shifter with a Steeda shift bracket (yellow insert, black was to noisy) on my 2013 GT. I'm curious if anyone has went from the Barton to a MGW and if so was it worth it? I'm not unhappy with the Barton but I do get a bit more shift linkage noise than I'd prefer. if there's a lot of opinions stating the MGW is a notable improvement I wouldn't mind switching.

Thanks

I would also like to know since I'm in the same boat although I don't have the bracket.

Also interested. I have a steeda tri-ax and bracket but am very interested in the new mgw design.

Dumb question. What is the difference or improvement made in the new design?

Mgw made some changes to their design. Heat shield and lower box. Steeda makes a great setup but it's similar to the Barton. Mgw redesigned the entire unit and continues to improve their design. I believe this to be a perfectly legitimate question.

Me three. I have the Steeda shifter and want to know of anyone with one has made the switch. I asked the question in the thread below but never got an answer....so I just went on and ordered the MGW.

The Steeda shifter setup is very good. Much better than stock and if you watch my videos that are posted you can hear how quick getting through the gates is, but I feel that I might be leaving something behind from 1st to 2nd.

I'm also interested in how the MGW performs in stop and go traffic. Again the Steeda is very nice but there's always room for improvement.

That MGW install video is very seducing. I am also very much interested in how it performs, the only way to find out is to you know what. I am also interested in the synergy of Whiteline trans bushing with MGW or do we only get the benefit with stock shifter?

Lots of interest in the question but not one answer LOL, I think I'll pull the trigger on the MGW and swap out the Barton with the steeda shift bracket and see if it's everything everyone says it is.

A guy named jmastang makes mention of him switching from the Barton to the mgw. He seems happy with the results.

I probably didn't word that correctly, I currently have the Steeda shift bracket / Barton shifter combo.
