Havent seen any posts of 2013 times at the track from new owners. Thinking of getting one but went last night and saw a 2013 gt auto that went a best of 12.92. I put my car back to stock and went a best of 12.54 makes me leary. Both cars are a6s.

 

Not sure what your mileage is, but I'm sure the 2013 is still in the low mileage range, and still being broke in. Additionally, unless you know or talked to the 2013 owner, I would venture to bet they had the TC still on, or maybe were running the All-Season tires, all affecting the ET.

On the other hand, the best I could ever get my 2012 A6 to run was a 12.8 @ 111 mph, and that was with a Tune, w/o a Tune my car wouldn't get into the 12's at all, stuck around 13.1 @ 108mph with 4k miles on the car. If you have an A6 with the stock 3.15 gears that run's 12.54 on street tires, you've got a better than average car.

 

My car is still on the stock pirellis and Ive gone a best of 12.37@114 and my best 60ft is 1.849. First pass ever on my car was a 12.72. at 112plus.

Ran a 12.91 stock '13 mustang, better times coming once i get this tuned up. has 4800 miles

 

Not sure if the tires have anything to do with it. Brembo auto's are running Goodyear F1's not Pirellis.

 

I find this hard to believe on stock tires?
My Boss with drag radials and 1.78 60 fts runs 12.28 to 12.3s

 

Ran a 12.8 I think all stock, leaving at idle.. Then a 12.6 on a Mickey T. going back soon hopefully now i have intake tune and exhaust
