Ralph @ AAI says it is awaiting shipment, Ford CS only shows that it was produced 5/14/10, my dealer is suppose to get back to me tomorrow...

I'm on the verge of buy a 2010 Camaro and having it converted to a ZL454.

This is where alot of olks are misunderstanding the rebate.. The way I was told is that you will still get it if Ford still has the rebate coupons available at the time of your cars arrival. And if you happen to have an expired coupon, it will be valid AS LONG AS FORD IS STILL OFFERING THEM.

Exactly. I guess we will find out for sure when someone tries to use a coupon after 7/6!

Just to be safe, I went ahead and ordered another brochure using my initials.

I just ordered a fresh broshure too since I don't even have a build date despite having ordered my car on 5/14.

My big mistake was adding the Brembo package about 7 days after my order...the salesman insisted that it wasn't too late but couldnt confirm my changes for a week and a half at which point they realized they had to order a new car because the change was in fact too late. So... it might have cost me the $750 coupon.

Will I get a new brochure even though I used my same (actual) name again?

Between first, middle, and last I worked out 11 variations of my name. With moving at the end of the month that gave me 22 name/address variations. My current and new places are both houses converted into apartments so I could probably add "apt 1" to line 2 of my address if I really wanted to. That would give me 44 brochures.

I've heard you can order different car model brochures and still get the $750 coupon? Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, for my original coupons I ordered brochures for the 2010 & 2011 Mustang.

For my second set of coupons I did the same.

Kahdir, i called last week also to AAI, you know who said this week also, my car came today. I got to drive it. First off the inside was way better then the Camaro. The drive is worth the wait, the car really drove super! Mind you, i have owned Camaros all my life. This is my first Mustang, no regrets here. The flood gates are open, and cars are shipping fast. I was looking around too, but im glad i got the GT. Ronn

I'm talking about ordering them for other cars completely besides the Mustang though.

I ordered Mustang, Edge and Flex brochure and got nothing as far as coupon goes. mustang one shows Cash Back $1000.00 Mustang V6 but price range is up to Shelby GT 500 Vert. Flex had nothing except MSRP Price Range and Edge had $2000 Cash back on SEL.

I have heard the brochure with $750 coupon is not model dependent. Is this right?

I have ordered four brochures in the last few weeks and none have arrived. How long does it normally take?

I'll order a couple more today but with my car here in a week, I don't have much time.

Check with your dealer it might be in the system. A dealer was able to check and see mine without the actual coupon.

It can take a few weeks. I think mine took nearly three to arrive. The 750 off one is good on (almost) everything Ford sells. There were a couple exclusions, the only one that I remember offhand being the Shelby GT500, but it's good for any Mustang V6 or GT.

This has been an increasing worry of mine as well ($500+$750 which may be expired in my case...)

very few people are getting the coupons with the brochures lately. If you have one expiring don't count on getting another.

Thanks for the biz, Greg. Hope you're enjoying the GT. Sorry I was off work when you picked it up, but trust the salesman I set you up with took care of everything.

Since Ford showed a certificate # for your $750 private offer, we honored it. Found out yesterday when we tried to claim it with Ford, that they denied it. Looks like the only way we'll get reimbursed that $750 is to fight Ford for it now. I'm baffled as your certificate # showed an expiration of 12/31/10.
