Has the $750 VINCENT rebate been extended?

Mine has an expiration date of 6/28/10, but I heard the rebate was extended to 9/1.

If mine still expires on 6/28 how can I get it extended or have another issued? Is there a phone number to call?

I have a deal on a car but the dealer couldn't locate the exact model I want. Thus, he is going to order it for me.

I would guess if there is any kind of extension it would be only for customers who had eta's during the time there coupon was valid but it expired because of the shipping delays. The program itself may get extended through 09/01 but your individual coupon doesn't neccessarily get extended.

I believe so. I got the $ 750 off from Ford, and then a dealer sent me another $ 750 off (same thing I'm sure) coupon which doesn't expire until 7/6/10.

I heard it just shows up in VINCENT as not expiring until Sept 1st, you don't have to do anything. Someone posted that awhile back I believe.

I just got a coupon in the mail even though when I signed up I said I was still at least 6 months away from ordering. It has an expiration date of 08/06/10

Probably depends when it was issued. Mine is good from 6/9 thru 8/2/10.

As a matter of facts I just got of the phone with my sales rep @ Genne Messer Ford and I asked that very question. He said that as long as the discount existed and that the data base showed that you tried getting a coupon that it would be honored even if you don't have the coupon in hand. He did say though that it still had to be valid at arrival of the vehicle. I told him i had sent for a coupon and hadn't received it yet and he assured me this would not be a problem as long as the discount existed.

Umm. Doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of asking if they extend it for delayed arrivals?

Not sure on delayed orders. But you would think so. The thing is from what he said is that as long as you sent for the discount coupon you should still get it as long as it's (the discount, not the coupon) still valid at the time of arrival. I think that what some ppl were wondering was that if they have a coupon that has expired, if it would still work. And from what I was told is yes. As long as it shows on the system that you actually sent for the coupon AND the discount is still in effect. I guess what I'm saying is that as long as this discount continues, even your expired coupons will be valid wether they themeselfs are expired. Does this make any sense? I'm havin a hard time explaining..

I'd consider talking to people at Ford about it if it's going to expire after the car order arrives but you had ETAs that were like 4 weeks before it did. I'd say there's a pretty good chance Ford would extend your offer a couple weeks.

Plan on the coupon being valid for when it says it is...if it expires before you get your car I bet it won't be good..Remedy..keep requesting brochures 3-4 / week so that the expitation date keeps rolling forward

Without trying to rub salt in a wound, what is the current status of your car?

Screw Ford CS. Have your sales guy pull it up in VINCENT. I saw the screen with my own eyes, it shows it being extended until 9/1.

I am not sure what the deal with Ford CS is lately. Called today to see if my car finally got a vin/scheduled, and she told me that even with a Dealer number and order number she couldn't look that info up, even though they did it last week.

The program may be extended but each particular certificate number still has its own individual expiration date depending on when it was originally issued.

The way it was put to me by the guy I ordered my car from, was that the expiration date did not matter. Once they have it in the system for you, Ford will honor it.

Better get that in writing because Ford doesn't look at it that way. If your certificate number isn't valid at time of delivery Ford won't reimburse the dealer for the rebate.

I guess I will find out, if Ford ever gets around to scheduling/building my car
