Hardwire dashcam and which fuse?

I have a 2014 Ford Mustang Convertible and I want to hardwire the dash/reverse camera. The dashcam is meant to plug into the 12v cigarette lighter, but it is always on and I don't want to drain the battery (I've tested it and it's always on). I want the dashcam to turn off when the car is off. I've figured out which spare fuse to tap, but does it matter what Amperage it is? Any advice/youtube pointers are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Which fuse should I use for the dashcam?

I hard-wired mine to the dome light (above the mirror). I bought a tiny USB Cigarette Outlet Charger (since the camera I have uses a USB cable to change). I opened it up to solder input power wires to it to tap into the dome light and used a shortened USB cable to go to the camera. The charger is wrapped in electrical tape and hidden inside the dome light (above the mirror). I forget which wires I tapped into but they are the accessory wires that go to the dome light before the switches.
