Did you break any plugs? I have the TSB printed out and a brand new lisle tool but someone told me that the way many shops do it is to soak it for a few hours and hit it with a impact wrench and they come right out no problem. I rather follow the TSB then strip a plug hole or damage the head personally but I was just wondering.

I had the SHR honeycomb on my car when I initially bought it but the tape gave up on me and I ended up selling it before I knew what it was worth. Then i later regretted it and thought the rear of my car looked too plain without it. So i went to get a new one and was shocked to see the price they are charging for a piece of plastic. I ended up getting the SVE version from late model restoration. For I believe $40 (on sale) in may you really can't beat it. For what I saved I added the black trim around the rear lights and a sequential plug and play kit from american muscle. The SHR is nice but WAYYY over priced. Just make sure you add plenty of 3m tape. LOL

I'll admit, I do like the looks of the decklid panel you had on your v6... even though it's not doing anythign new, what you did first actually did look best! I think you'd be hard pressed to come up with something even better. It was just simple, clean, yet very distinctive.
I've considered doing one of those plain ones on mine... but I'd probably get a lot of hate for that.

I would, I loved it. One of the best looking Ive seen on our cars. Especially with those new tail lights.
I may be partial though because I never liked any of the decklid panels you could buy very much.
