dont put shelby badges on a non shelby. that just makes you a ricer and waters down the image and performance of a real shelby 
i see no need to do front end conversions, if you like the look of the shelby then go buy one. you finally have a v8 now, be happy.

OP, do whatever you want to your car. If it says Shelby or has snake badges on it, it's not that big of a deal. Personally I wouldn't but it's your ride. Make it your own and **** on the peanut gallery here. Everybody has their own opinion what a mustang should look like. I can count off at least ten members here with the same dang aftermarket wheels and at least 20 with the same mufflers. It's refreshing to see someone do something different and not follow the herd. If you like it, DO IT.

I would not put Shelby badges on it either because most people don't know what a Shelby is, they just see a Mustang. Those that do know what a Shelby is will realize it's a fake. So you wouldn't be fooling anyone and there's no reason to be a poser.
I love the Shelby front end and would do that to my own 5.0 if I had the chance but I would not put the Snake emblems on it.
Basically, if you stuff a sausage in your pants to impress the women, eventually you'll have to take your pants off and show them the real thing.

If you do a full Roush kit and put Roush badges on it, nobody complains. Put a full Saleen kit with badges, nobody complains. It's not true but cool anyways. Shelby is nothing more than either one. SVT built the Shelby and Ford pays Shelby for using the name plate. Quit holding the Shelby name as something sacred. The Shelby GT was just a GT. I've seen tons of 1st gen fastbacks with Shelby kits and badges. It's just a tribute car. So call it a cool looking tribute car. I would really like to build a Shelby and strip all that Shelby crap off if it. The only thing desirable about the Shelby is the drivetrain anyways. And that's purely SVT.
