GT500 Front End Conversion Started!
Well My front end Conversion has started! Only needed Two Brackets.
Have a few parts on Order/Shipped
-Led Bulbs for fogs
-Chin Spoiler
-Connectors for fogs
And the Car should be going to paint either Tomorrow or Friday!
I still need to find some 13 Grills tho!

I have always like the front bumper on the GT500 better than the GT...it's the way the lower fog lite opening blends in and makes it look less like Harpo Marx making that look he did with his mouth...

IMHO, GT500 bumper > GT bumper, and GT500 grill > GT grill
Love the foglight placement and the bigger bottom grill. So what if it's not a Shelby, it's gonna look better than stock.

It's a work in progress guys... chill out. We have all been there where we put it on to see how it fits. It's not even painted yet, so give the guy a chance. He might take the snakes off or he might not. Personally, I love the GT500 bumper compared to the one I have now, it looks more aggressive. I would love to do the Wide body kit from steeda but I wouldn't put snakes on it. To the OP, looking good so far. Keep up the work and I look forward to the finished product.

What's a with your GT500 rear spoiler? What's with your GT500 stripes? Should we not respect you anymore either?
IMHO, GT500 bumper > GT bumper, and GT500 grill > GT grill

his car was DONE. like already done. already had that hood on it, and had custom grilles and a painted chin spoiler on it, so this is like a total deviation from the awesome that was already on it. I think he's taking away from the awesome that was already on it, and I'm trying to understand the decision.
i like the kid, i like what he did with his last car, thought it was awesome he picked up that GT. I know he wants to make it his, but I think he's blowing his dad's money for not much here. just my opinion. disregard if you don't like. :-\

If that is not a GT500 spoiler, then what is it? It really does look like a GT500 spoiler. And I was not bashing your car, think it looks fantastic, just didn't understand the disgust with the OP's choices.

I think the problem Diva is having with the OP's choices is that the car was done and perfectly modded in her opinion. I don't think she hates the GT500 front end so much as that the car it's being done on looked good already. People can do what they want with their cars and people can have their opinions.

Looking good so far. I'm guessing you found a good deal on an 11 or 12 front end? Is that the cervini hood? Confused as to why you have another hood?
I too prefer the GT500 bumper but can't justify the expense. not right now anyway. others have simply blacked out the snake emblems so maybe you're considering that?

I don't have a GT500 spoiler. I do have LeMans stripes on the body, but no GT500 ones ???

Looking good. Put whatever emblems you want because you're paying the bill.
However, you may get some head scratching at dealerships, car shows, mechanics, and so on.

Those Grills came with the Bumper, I am getting the 13 Grilles and putting a tri bar on as the Snake is actually molded into the grille.
Well Actually I pay for it all myself but I digress. The Paint on both the Old hood and Bumper was pitiful. The previous owner had painted it in his garage. He didn't prep at all! He even pained the chin on the car and overspray was everywhere. The grilles were also pitted.
Cervinis offered me a great deal on this hood since I am local and I actually made money selling my old hood, Enough to cover paint for the Bumper and the Hood.
The only difference between the 10-12 and 13-14 is the Grilles. Also I was able to pick up the Bumper, grilles, Chin spoiler and Fog lights for $250.
