GT/GT500 over axle pipes. Compatible?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the over axle pipes from a 12 GT500 will be a direct bolt on to a 12 GT?!

I thought I answered this already........ Yes they are. I had the same pipes on my car until I switched to the Heartthrob H-Pipe kit which came with those pipes as well.

No problemo!! They are really the ideal setup since they are OEM and you can't beat the fit.

Would also prefer OE GT500 over the axle pipes rather than cutting up the stock pipes. Anyone know of a reasonably priced source for these new? When they pop up FS on the forums they sell immediately.

We know the 2011-2012 pipes bolt up, but what about the 2010 pipes?

The OEM Gt500 ones are pretty high. I think JPC sells some that are like 200 bucks.

I'm not for sure on the 2010's. I would say yes since the 5.4 in the 2010 didn't change too much for the 2011. But the exhaust on the 2010 GT was different from what I have read. So a 2010 GT500 may work on a 2011 GT but not on a 2010 GT. May have to research a little more to be sure.

I checked JPC yesterday and they are $299.99.

If the 2010 GT exhaust will not fit later years then the 2010 GT500 exhaust won't either. I have a 2010 GT500 that i put muffler delete pipes on and the paperwork that came with them said they will fit a 2010 GT or GT500.

I've looked at a ton of muffler deletes for the 2011+ years and it looks like the hangers are a little different than the 2010 GT or GT500. I searched high and low for a 4" or 4.5" tipped muffler delete for the 2010 and can't find them. They are plentiful for 2011+ but not 10's. The 2010's are all 3.5" tips with the exception of one by i think pypes, but they say their deletes are designed to eliminate the popping sound which is common with muffler deletes.......i personally LOVE the popping and burbly sound!

Call Tousley Ford for a price quote on the GT500 over axle pipes. They sell at 10% over cost if you are a SVTP forum member.

Great service and prices.
