GT/CS diffuser conversion?

I'm leaning towards switching my rear diffuser to the GT500 dual exhaust diffuser/exhaust. My question is (dealership didn't know) would my oem diffuser need to be cut off like the other diffusers to do this mod or is the CS/Boss diffuser different?

Some extra slots will need to be cut along the center section to swap your OE GT/CS diffuser with the GT500 diffuser, but no major cutting like when adding a GT/CS - Boss diffuser to a GT.

Cool! Thanks for the help. So this is something that I should be able to handle myself?

It's not that hard. Check out photos 4, 5 and six in posting #38 using the link below. Photos 4 and 5 show cutting the 5 slots needed, and photo 6 adding the extra 3 white clips that you'll also have to purchase. All the other cuts are already done if you have a GT/CS.

I thought the CS/GT bumper cover will accept the GT500 diffuser with out cutting anything. Only the GT bumper cover needed to be cut.

Edit: I see you mentioned above just the slots needed to be added.
