Grabber Blue GT/CS
So in the order guide it's refereed to as:
Unique Door Panel "Carbon" Inserts & Unique Front and Rear Leather Seats with "Carbon" Inserts
The fact that the carbon is written in quotes means it's not carbon fiber...
Plus come on... carbon fiber inserts in the seats? Based on logic I don't think that such a thing exists. In a sense where carbon fiber is substituted as leather... yea, not too comfortable.
I mean, I just don't think they make carbon fiber chair/seats/anything of that manner. But it's a cool idea to make the look of the seats different. I'm all for it... just call it what it is tho. And that remains to be seen.
as in my previous posts, I'm sticken with a woven aluminum dash at the moment.
oh I stand corrected in the sitting on carbon fiber thing...

The seats and door panels are obviously leather/vinyl with a carbon fiber pattern. That has been around for years. I even have an iPhone case made out of the stuff. The dash, come on. Would Ford really use real carbon fiber trim in a GT/CS? No. I'm surprised Roush doesn't have a kit out yet. They usually do the first carbon fiber dash kits for the Mustangs. I'm thinking I may paint my dash panels piano black like the new SHO and Fusion SEL. Looks really nice!
Probably not, but I think it can look tasteful and not overdone. I think you can overdo anything. It's kind of like make-up on women... a little can go a long way. Do you think this looks stupid? Be honest. It won't bother me if you don't agree, but I like the way the color works with the center of the wheels and how it cleans up and tones down the back end where the fake gas cap used to be. I feel it's more subtle than stupid in this application, but it can certainly be overdone... like anything else.
Plus it adds 5 mph to the car's top speed doesn't it?

It's just a print on the aluminum, not real carbon fiber.
Way back in '96 when I first got my Ducati with a couple of real carbon fiber panels on it, I thought it'd be really cool to swap out most of the pieces i could for carbon fiber. Never got any further than the front fender, but I'm glad I didn't now. It's great for saving weight and all, but I think it's been over played. I'm thinking I won't get a GT/CS just to avoid the "carbon" seats and dash panels. Besides, I'm not so sure the whole package is what I want, or worth the cost.
But I still have the cf bits on my Ducati, and they'll stay there.

Hehe. I bought some cheap seat covers for my toilets a couple of years ago and they kept breaking from sitting on them. Maybe I should look into getting those carbon fiber babies! Then I would be toilet riding in style!
Still not crazy about the tiny fog lights, Honda Civic spoiler, and JC Whitney grill, but I have to admit that it's a lot better in blue that it is in red. The rear blackout is nice, the rims are pretty good, and the decals look alright.
I think it would look a whole lot better with a smaller/or no spoiler and a different grill.

I also not like the black plastic spoilers, nor the big spoiler. -also the ´regular´ black 19 Bright Machined Aluminum Wheels - GT Premium i prefer over the special wheels of the california as also bremo package, black give a contrast to the grabber blue (addionionally to a black convertible roof). Less is more i think, the Mustang is very nice and most addionally things look like added and could be added to any car (so nothing special to me).
