One night I was headed out in the evening to meet up with a couple buddies. I had my '97 Cobra vert at the time. I decided that since I don't drive it often and it was a nice cool night, I would exercise a little judicious throttle application . So I blasted from the light where I was and apparently the cop was hiding in a dark open space on my right side with the lights off. Well, he didn't catch up to me until about a mile later where he pulled me over. He comes up and asks the normal questions. Where you going? Yada yada. Did you see me? I was like "no, not at all officer". He says "You got that car up to 85 from that light to where I was sitting". I was so completely nailed I just said "yea, I suppose I did officer, see I don't get to drive it too much and when I do sometimes I just lose control". He says "well its a **** nice car but SLOW IT DOWN! Next time you're getting rocked!" and let me go.

Talk about passing a brick, that was one for the books!
