Got my 2011 VIN today !!!!!!!
Ok guys, I looked at some of my papers from my dealer and I have a priority or 40. Should I be concerned about this being such a high number? I understand lower to be better but does 40 have some other meaning having ordered with a z-plan pin? They said I was the first to order from their location.

Some good info there but I still don't really understand when we can expect our cars to be scheduled or if orders placed after ours with better priority numbers will scoop us or not. I ordered mine March 3. Once I hear of more VIN's coming for retail orders I'll start hounding my dealer for info.
Oh, and congrats to Marty (mfbris) by the way!
Priority numbers are the same for all dealers. Order Numbers are different. A 10 is the best there can be, and a number in the 40s is not where I would put an order. That being said, if they ordered your car under the Retail order Verification Program, and submitted your license and a buyer's order, then you don't have anything to worry about as the factory knows its a legitimate retail order and will build it as soon as possible when they start retail orders.

Jeff, i think thats how my dealer ordered my V-6. Ordered on March 17th with a priority number of 10. It looks like my dealer has ordered it as "Retail Dealer Inventory". So ordering my Mustang like this will make it come in sooner?
