Yup, lots of people have kicked that idea around.

One of the Photoshop gurus should do a few chops to give us a better idea of how it would look.

When I see the unpainted rears I think Chevy Avalanche. I have a friend who had all his plastic cladding painted and it looked SOOO much better.

Congrats. Sweet looking ride! The black looks really good with the striping, almost like ghost stripes.

Here's a quick one I just did in photoshop. I'll try to do a better one later if I have time. The shadows make it kinda hard since they would extend down to the bottom of the bumper if it was painted black.

I've got a Kona Blue GT on order and I plan on doing exactly that. If the black plastic only came up as far as the rocker panel moldings I'd call it good enough. But there's just too much black plastic for me. I'm also going to have the grill surround painted. If you want to see some examples of what it would look like, do a search for the 2009 SEMA show. There were a handful of tuner Mustangs there that had the rear valence painted body color.

One of the benefits of a white car. The gray/black plastic doesn't seem to look so out of place on a white Mustang as it does on 'colors' (including black).

Funny I look at it the other way around ... the Black Plastic blends in more on a dark color like Kona or Black. If I was getting any of the lighter colors, I'b be considering painting it ... the black boddy cladding was one of the reasons I went with Kona instead of Grabber.
