Good Price for 2013 GT?

I need some help. I'm currently thinking about trading in my car for a '13 GT with brembos, comfort package, reverse sensing package and GT coupe accessory package 5. The dealer wants to pay $21,700 for my car. ($600 above the buyout price).

The sticker is $38,970 on the GT and the price they gave me is $34,829. I'm financing the car and my payments would be $449 for the first 30 months and $518 for the second 30 (both at 0% APR).

They are holding the car for me until Monday when I have to make my final decision on it. Is it worth it? Is this a good deal?

Also I've seen loaded 12 GTs gently used for around 27k and under. I've seen a gently used 12 supercharged GT for 31k. I'd explore my options big time.

I totally agree. I bought my 12 a year ago. It's a premium with everything except nav and glass roof. I paid 26,000 and it had 6000 miles on it. Just look around and don't be afraid to drive for a deal. I drove 2 hours to pick up my baby.

not sure if your final price was invoice or not... but you can easily get a new GT for invoice then minus any rebates.

Paying anything higher than that is a bad deal IMO.

Dealer just offered me 31000 for a 2013 with similar options. Msrp was 38600ish. So I'd say you should try and get a better deal.

Yes, you'll want to own the next car you get.

An off topic rant: anyone notice that the Roush RS is basically a V6 car with hand me down GT parts that were removed for the big boy conversions?

Seriously, they change the V6 cloth seats to the GT take off, factory brembo wheels, and so on...plus they start at 30k! I wonder if they sell any of those?

I dunno...I paid 34.5 OTD (inc tax,title, registration etc.) for 2013 GT Premium w/ Track Pack w/ no other options except spoiler delete and some kinda interior trim pkg. Probably coulda got a better deal but it was kinda an impulse buy and finding spoiler delete wasn't easy and I wanted it NOW.

No regrets over a few possible dollars lost;
