Gearing question

I have a gearing question concerning the 3.73 gear and the six speed manual transmission, in the 2014 GT with TP. I have a 2002 GT built 5.0L motor, six speed 04 cobra trans, With a true track dif with 4.10 gears. My question is when I turn a corner and stand on it I can make the car complete go out from under me. with out touching the clutch at all. Is the gearing setup in the 2014 GT with the track pack, for this, meaning will it do it, without a clutch kick, just stand on the GAS and go right out from under me???

Also my current 02 GT 5.0L has about 347HP and 373TQ. The new 2014 GT has 420HP and 390TQ, so I would assume it would do it.

Thanks to all

Dynamic stability control, traction control, computer controlled throttle, along with chassis tuning prevent lots of hooliganism.

When you're ready, buy a tune to sharpen the throttle response while improving torque at low rpms, then hold down the traction control button for about 6-seconds to completely turn-off traction and stability control.

FYI - the stability control is never truly off, but it goes into a stand-by mode ready to kick back and save itself when it feels the car might be losing control, even if driver induced on purpose.

Thank you for your reply

So let me make sure I understand you correctly you're saying a car with 420 horse you cannot make it deliberately go sideways if you want to? I hope that is not the case although I do believe what you're saying because You have the car already and I don't. I do plan on getting a JLT CAI and a custom tune from breenspeed, and long tube headers with Roush axle backs will this make any difference at all, can he disable the stability control traction control crap. I guess I don't understand why Ford would put this feature on a race car? Does the GT500 also have this? Thanks for your time hope to hear from you again

The TCS needs to be overridden as stated then go out and tear it up! TCS is made to save your a$$ when you least expect it. If you plan to light them up turn it off

Stability control was mandated by federal law for all new 2012 MY passenger cars. It could save your life someday when you least expect it, so while irritating at times, for the most part, it isn't too intrusive like a normal passenger cars.

As for the GT500, that brings up a good point, manufacturers do tune ESC differently for certain model cars. In that regards, the Boss and GT500 has ESC tuning that intervenes at higher levels than the GT and V6 models.

The Track Pack intervenes at the same interval as the Boss given that the hooliganisms we put our cars through have the same potential with that package with the included Boss features of said package. In my experience when I turn everything off anyway. And yes, I can induce a good slide without the use of the clutch in a turn if I would like to. It's just more controlled with the Torsen dif in the Track Package. Love it.

Where are you getting your misinformation from? When you disable it, it is COMPLETELY off. Do doughnuts, drift it, spin it out until your tires are bald. It won't intervene.

First hand experience. It kicked back on one time during a doughnut where the pavement was on about a 5% tilt. I was in the middle of a rotation where the car almost went backwards when I rotated the car into the sloped pavement.

It was a little disconcerting to say the least, because I was almost positive I had waited approximately 6-8 seconds while I completely turned-off the Stability Control. Could it have somehow kicked back on during my hooliganism, I admit the possibility.

Track Pack will do this no problem if you're in the right gear, but in low speed turns you'll have to contend with wheel hop...

I am told that LCA'S take out wheel hop is that true? I will replace mine. my other car has an IRS so no LCA'S to be replaced.
