Gas Milage on my 2011 V6
#21
After 1800 miles, I've been averaging around 25 mpg (+/- .5 mpg). I have a 21 mile commute on I-95 (very light traffic in the morning and very heavy traffic in the afternoon) and roughly another 6 miles on city/county roads. No complaints here.

Hi,
First post. This is the first Mustang I have ever owned. It is a 2011 V6 automatic, with the 3.31 gear ratio option, and the stock 18" wheels. I realize that the higher ratio results in lower MPG. However, I am getting no more than 20-20.5 MPG per tank (87 octane). I have had it for almost 2 years now, and this is the mileage I have seen since owning it. I travel 20 miles to work, 3/4 of which is highway miles. If I make a long trip (Orlando to Jacksonville e.g.), I will get about 23.5-24MPG. Granted, I don't drive like a granny, but the MPG seems very low. Is this normal for that configuration?
Thanks
