Hmm...

Flat black, I might... depends on difficulty keeping it clean.

A flat orange (pearl), I'm ordering a second Mustang

Kinda like this...

That's sick, however I'm starting to get tired of flat paintjobs. I wanted to paint my current car flat black when I first got it. Back then flat paintjobs were still only being done by truck enthusiasts/rat rod tuners. Yeah the whole rat rod scene has been around a LONG time, but the early 2000s brought it back. Then everyone stared doing flat black so I wanted to repaint my car the stock Laser Red, but matte clear. Then everyone started doing that. I hate how I get all these ideas and then never have the $ to make them happen, then they get played out and I don't want to do them anymore. Oh well. I think I'll eventually just repaint it Laser Red and call it a day. It's going to be more unique being the factory color by the time I get around to it.

i think it's one of those things that only looks good in perfect light (i.e. sunset)

Aren't the Ford (and Lincoln) Platinum whites kind of a matte finish? They don't look 'shiny' to me.
