Funnel

My 2013 GT I bought used last summer has the no gas cap fuel fill this may be a standard feature of the GT I have no idea but I do see that if you want to add anything to your fuel there is a funnel that is supplied with the car? It seems mine is missing so is this a special funnel or will any funnel work and if not can I order a new one from my dealer?

I found this on amazon. It says it's for a cap less gas tank.

I have a '14 GT and like yours, it's capless. Mine came with a funnel. It dosen't really look all that special, but the owner's manual says not to use any others. I used it once to put some fuel injection cleaner in with a fill up. It worked fine, but the opening isn't all that big so I can see where if you had a large cumbersome gas can instead of a small bottle you might get some spillage. There must be some sort of one way valve in the filler pipe that makes this capless system possible. I would think you should be able to get a replacement funnel from any Ford dealer.

You can get a replacement. I got one from the local BG guy. That way the factory one is still in the car. The BG funnel is small also. I use a long funnel to funnel into the smaller one. Makes pouring easier.

Did you check the panel on top of the spare wheel? that's where mine was, if not I have heard they are cheap enough on ebay.

It will be in the trunk. Mine was optioned with the spare tire, so mine was on a a plastic flap that rested on the spare under the carpet and floor board.
